The Ben West Palm takes inspiration from the Ben Trovato Estate, one of West Palm Beach’s great homes owned by unsung pioneers of the city, Byrd (Birdie) Dewey and her husband, Fred S. Dewey. The couple put West Palm Beach on the map, and their estate became known as a gathering place for socialization, conversation, enjoyment, and enrichment. This five-star luxury hotel channels a similar spirit as a gathering spot for the modern traveler.
The eight-story hotel encompasses 150,000 sf of elevated 8” post tensioned flat slabs. UFI utilized a column hung system to form the decks. The project also included a complex rooftop pool and multiple areas of exposed concrete.
